“Inti” Orange Wine Veneto Igt by Corte Sant’Alda

“Inti” by Corte Sant’Alda is a Venetian white wine with an orange gold color, born from an experimental production process rich in historical and artistic inspiration. Its name recalls the sun god of the Inca people, often depicted with the golden color, symbol of light and warmth.

“Inti” comes from Garganega grapes from the Bine Longhe vineyard, located in the Val di Mezzane at 350 meters above sea level. The vines are twenty years old, grown in a guyot and exposed to the south on a medium-textured limestone soil. The vineyard is cultivated according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. In the cellar, the winemaking is carried out in unglazed cement tanks in the shape of a pyramid, where the must ferments spontaneously in contact with the skins for about 40 days, taking on an intense golden color. After the racking, the malolactic fermentation also takes place spontaneously, after which the wine remains in contact with the fine lees for a few months, reaching maturation.

“Inti” by Corte Sant’Alda is an orange wine, the result of an experimental production method inspired by pre-Columbian civilizations and their divine gold symbols. Its intense golden color is due to the long maceration on the skins for 40 days, a number that also seems to recall the stay of 40 days and 40 nights of Moses on Sinai, before he descended from the mountain and found his people worshipping the golden calf idol, or the 40-year journey in the desert before arriving in the land of Canaan. This wine is original, expressive and interesting, capable of awakening the imagination during tasting.
