Grown on clay-limestone soils on the Plan de Dieu, a terroir of gravel, rolled stones and clay near Gigondas.
Grapes are hand-picked and sorted. The maceration and the fermentation take place in concrete vats for 25 days. The wine is aged in concrete vats for 18 months. After bottling, the wine stays in the cellar for 1 year minimum before being released.
