This wine surprised us immediately for the richness of fruit, fullness and elegance. A sip that recalled grapes and that went down with great ease in the mouth to the detriment of the alcohol content, an index of great balance.
From grapes harvested late to reach ripeness, it is a blend of Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Lacrima, harvested and vinified separately. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in steel without temperature control after 20 days maceration with daily punching down. Aging of Sangiovese and Montepulciano in steel / cement and of Lacrima in barrique. Finally, a blend of 60% of Montepulciano, 30% of Sangiovese and 10% of Lacrima. A further period of rest in the bottle of about 6 months precedes the marketing.
